Obituary for John F. Ererra

ERRERA, John F. In Arlington at 67 years, unexpectedly, Jan. 3. Beloved son of the late Peter F. & Emma (Mosconi) Errera. Proud Founding Member of "The Friends of Arlington Hockey" Devoted brother of Peter F. Errera Jr. of Arlington, with whom, John made his home, Katherine A. "Katie" VanDorpe & her husband Adrian E. of Marblehead & the late Nancy M. Bostley. Cherished cousin of Mary M. (McCabe) & David J. MacKenzie & their daughter Atty. Meghan K. MacKenzie (John's Godchild) all of Wayland. Also lovingly survived by many other cousins, brother-in-law Paul G. Bostley of Marblehead & extended family of sports' enthusiasts. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral, 5 Chestnut St., ARLINGTON, Monday, January 9th at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, Medford St., Arlington at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday only 2-6 p.m. Services will conclude with interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. John was a retired contract Computer Analyst for Gillette Co. & Jordan Marsh Co. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made to NANCAMP c/o Essex County Community Foundation, 175 Andover St., Suite 101, Danvers, MA. 01923 or www.eccf.org (Note NANCAMP is a day camp founded in 1992 in memory of John's sister, Nancy M. Bostley for the care & comfort of children affected by cancer).
