BOERMEESTER, Helene M., of Medford. Passed peacefully on March 11, 2017. Born in Winchester to the late John and Catherine (Kelleher) Boermeester. Loving sister of Jack Boermeester & his wife Deana of Framingham, Donald Boermeester & his wife Marsha of Burlington, and Kathy Madden of Arlington. Cherished God mother of the late Cheryl Madden of Arlington and Nancy Cunningham of Natick. Also survived by nieces & nephews, Nancy, David, Robert, Linda Boermeester of Framingham, Donald Jr., Kenneth, Ginger Boermeester of Burlington and many great nieces & nephews. Helene was raised and educated in Medford, Class of 1953. She worked 30+ years as personal manager for the law firm of Parker, Coulter Daley & White of Boston and 15+ years as office manager for Orthodontist Dr. Michael Cognata, of Everett. She was a proud member of Medford's Jingle Bell Festival Committee and Fortnightly Club. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt.60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church) Arlington on Wednesday; 10am - 11am, followed by a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home at 11am.
