Devoted father of Kathrine Coan, her husband Ken, of Chelmsford, Douglas Petersen of Barnstead, NH, David Petersen, and his wife Cheryl, of Billerica. Also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and 9 loving great grandchildren. Brother of the late John Petersen. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. John Church, 2254 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, Thursday, May 25th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Late US Army veteran of WWII.
