DENNEN, Mary C. (Fahey) of Arlington, June 2nd, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence L. Dennen Sr., former Arlington Police Officer. Devoted mother of Debra Cooney of Franklin, Lawrence L. Dennen Jr. of Arlington, Colleen Shannon, her husband Mark of Plymouth, and Nancy Dennen of Hull. Sister of Patrick Fahey of Ireland. Also survived by 16 loving grandchildren and 14 loving great grandchildren. Further survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mary is a former longtime employee of Symmes Hospital of Arlington and Patriot Pediatrics of Lexington and Bedford. She was very proud of her dual US and Ireland citizenship and enjoyed spending time at her home in Hull with her loving grandchildren. Mary was also a former champion Irish step dancer. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to St. Agnes Church, Rt. 60) ARLINGTON, Friday, June 9th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St. Arlington at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are to be made to the American Red Cross of MA, 139 Main St., Cambridge, MA 02142.
