Marion C.  Nelson
Marion C. Nelson born June 17, 1919 passed away peacefully in her sleep July 27, 2017 at the Woburn Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born & lived in Cambridge MA. She was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (Cullen) Nelson. She is predeceased by her sister Teddy (Laura) MacLaughlin and her brothers Will (Wilbur), Paul and Thomas. She is survived by her nephew Michael Nelson of Virginia, and nieces Patricia Wolf & husband Roger, of Leominster MA., Susan LaBarre & husband Paul, of Florida, Mary Burbine & husband Anthony, of Littleton MA, and nephews Bruce MacLaughlin & his wife Jan of Texas, and David MacLaughlin of Montana. She is also survived by nine grand nieces and nephews, and two great grand nieces.

She worked 47 years for Dowd (now International Paper). She saw a lot in her long peaceful life of 98 years and will be missed by all. She is the last of her generation of Nelson’s to pass away, leaving a huge void in her wake.

Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, August 5th, at the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave, NORTH CAMBRIDGE from 10am-12pm. A Prayer Service will immediately follow at 12pm in the Funeral Home.
