Michael J. "Shakey" Tardo

Michael Joseph Tardo, 72, of Somerville Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 12:26 a.m. Michael is survived by Donna DiCicco, Daughter Christine Tardo, Son Michael Tardo, Daughter Lisa Tardo, Son Christopher Tardo, Daughter Michelle (Peter) Smith, Brother Frank"Butch" (Marie) Tardo, Brother Richard (Theresa) Tardo, and Grandchildren Tayla, Farrah, Christopher, Ethan, Henry, and Katherine.

Michael was born in Boston on November 8, 1944 to Frank and Lillian Tardo. He was very proud of his heritage, a "strong Sicilian" and a loyal Bostonian. An avid fisherman who's love for nature was like no other. A joke was always on his lips followed by his contagious laugh which always enlightened all those around him. He always had a joke or a story that you didn't mind hearing, again, because his passion made the telling of the story come to life each and every time. Michael was a loving father, a doting grandfather, and loyal friend. He will be greatly missed by all those lives he's touched and the smiles he's brought.
