CONNOLLY, Joanne (Powlishen) of Medford. August 21, 2017. Beloved wife of Dennis “Fran” Connolly. Loving mother of Mark Connolly and his wife Jessica of Woburn and Megan Hager and her husband Jesse of Medford. Devoted grandmother of Timothy and Charles Connolly and Connor and Margaret Hager. Sister of William Powlishen of Boise, ID. Sister in law of John and Barbara Connolly of Canton, Patricia and Douglas MacNeil of Dorchester, Francis Stone and his late wife Kathleen of Cape Cod, and the late Kevin Connolly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Joanne was a longtime teacher in the city of Cambridge. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to St. Agnes Church, Rt. 60) ARLINGTON, Thursday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass in Saint Raphael’s Church, High St., Medford at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
