Seán Patrick Fedele, 61, of Arlington, formerly of Concord, beloved brother, son and uncle, passed away in his home in Arlington on Sept 4th, 2017. Seán was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as a medic, and later became a “foodie” far ahead of his time – and loved his family and friends by cooking his extraordinary meals. His sense of humor was both ribald and silly and he especially enjoyed provoking laughter in his two nieces and nephew, Stephanie Checchi, Alex Gruson and Ryan Checchi, and of late, Ryan’s wife, Monica Checchi. Seán is preceded in death by his father, John R. Caggiano, of Arlington and Concord, and survived by his mother, Mary Caggiano (Coughlin), and his three sisters Sheila Checchi, Susan Caggiano, Jan Caggiano-Heiland and her husband Jeff Heiland. Memorial services will be held at First Parish Church of Groton, 1 Powderhouse Rd. Groton, MA 01450 on Nov. 4th, at 2pm. Friends and family welcome.
