Condolence: I was so sad to hear of Neil’s passing. That same week Stu Belden, Richie Tavilla and I had lunch wherein we discussed Neil. Ironically, Stu told me that night about Neil and his wife Pat called to inform us also that evening. So sad, vivid memories of walking across rte 2 from Pleasant St. to meet Neil and his Dad for the ride to New Prep in Cambridge. Lots of tennis and hockey with Neil, and as Harvey mentioned, quite a few brewskees at the Bandbox after hockey in Billerica. Jane and I certainly pass on our condolences. Neil will be missed, a great guy. John & Jane Morse

Condolence From: Brian Sullivan
Condolence: Pat, I am so sorry to hear of Neil's passing. He was one of the greatest guys. We played hockey over the years in Billerica, BB&N, Acton, Newton, Middlesex School, Lexington, etc. He was the only guy I knew who smiled when he was skating...always smiling on the ice! I'll always have fond memories of Neil and his easy going personality. He had a great dry humor and was one of the characters in the locker room. He will be missed by the "old gang" So sorry for your loss, Brian Sullivan

Condolence: Pat, I'm so sorry to hear of Neil's passing. He and I went back to the old days at BU and playing hockey together well into our 40's. More recently, I would run into Neil at the Dedham Racquet Club and we would reminisce about the old days. He will be missed by all the guys who played hockey with him over the years. Sorry for your loss, Ted Sullivan

Condolence: I worked with Neil for 10 years at Boston College. He was a mentor and a friend. He had a great sense of humor and often delivered his lines in a deadpan way that made them even funnier. Neil was popular with the student interns who appreciated his direct and laid-back approach, and his interest in them. My heartfelt sympathy to Pat and his family.

Condolence From: Harvey McKenney
Condolence: I am so sad to hear of Neil's passing. From meeting at BU as freshmen, from playing hockey to watching hockey, drinking beers together and talking about anything and everything, Neil was a joy to be with. I was so honored to be asked to play hockey on Saturday nights at the Billerica forum continuing on to the Band Box to finish off the evening. Just the best memories of excellent times with a wonderful guy, a good friend, and an all 'round great person. I'm going to miss you, Neil.

Condolence: I've known Neil since the 10th grade. He was always smiling with that great smile of his. We did many things together...played hockey, watched high school sports, had a few beers together. So many great memories of being with him. I am having a hard time believing he is gone. He will truly be missed.
