Of Medford, formerly of North Cambridge. Passed away peacefully at home on December 18, 2017, surrounded by her daughter. Loving Mother of Kristen Abbott of Medford. Beloved daughter of the late Francis Abbott and Rita (Cyr). Dear sister of Francis J. Abbott of South Carolina. Also survived by many dear friends and coworkers. Joanne worked as the Senior Clerk for the City of Medford. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to St. Agnes Church, Rt. 60) ARLINGTON, Saturday at 8:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, Medford at 9:30AM.
