Of Arlington, passes away peacefully at the age of 98. Devoted daughter of the late Daniel and Elizabeth (Mason) Maytum. Beloved sister of Mary T. Galgay of Dennis, and the late Agnes Maytum, and William Maytum and his wife Claire. She was the most wonderful aunt of Marybeth Galgay Haynes and her husband Robert of Melrose, David Galgay and his wife Sharon of Portland, ME, Christopher Galgay of Turner, ME, Brian Galway of Arlington, VA, Joseph Galgay and his wife Julie Thompson of Brewster, John Galgay and his wife Andrea of Cumberland, RI, Patrick Galgay and his wife Aline of Westerlo, NY, Jack and his wife Donna Maytum of Newport, RI, Elizabeth Matson and her husband Robert of Arlington, Virginia Briskie and her husband Paul of Hudson, Dan Maytum and his wife Stacy of Haverhill, and Mary Ritter and her husband Wayne of Billerica. she is also survived by many many grand nieces and nephews, and one great grand niece. Former longtime employee of both Lever Brothers and Arthur D. Little in Cambridge. Catherine spent her life doing for others. She touched so many lives with her goodness and selflessness. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Mass will be held in St. Mary's Church, 134 Norfolk Street in Cambridge on May 12th at 11:00am to celebrate her beautiful life. Her burial will be Private.
