Condolence From: Woodcarving Tewksbury Senior Center
Condolence: We wanted you to know how much we enjoyed having Joe be a part of our group, he always had a laugh and a story. He was so proud of his great family and talked about how much you all did for him to help him keep his independence.
Thank you for helping him find us.
We are very sorry for your loss, he will be missed by all.

Condolence: I have only known Joe for a short time, but in that time I have grown to love & respect him. The love & pride he had for his family was obvious to all of us on the bus. The fact that so many of his family members would visit him every Sunday is a tribute to him as a person. We will miss you on the Friday food shopping trips, but you are with your wife now who you missed terribly! RIP Joe one of my favorite guys...😢

Gone From My Sight
I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.
Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."
Gone where?
Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone,"
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

Condolence: Joe, so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is especially difficult and is made a little easier by remembering the good times and the lessons passed on to you that shape your own life.
