Condolence: My Sympathy to You All, living right up the street from The Meara’s I can pretty much say have known them my whole life, Joe was always a great person to me and very respectful. Always a smile or do something to make me laugh even on my worst day, he had that way about him, but I’m sure you all know that. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. He will shine bright in the night sky 🌌 I’m sure, and he will always be with you and just look for signs that he’s there with you, if anyone can leave them he can! Again I’m sorry for your loss.
Love Helen Doyle Donisi

Condolence From: Linda Coffey
Condolence: Julie, Nicole, Meara, Nickerson, & Coffey Familes- I am so sorry for the loss of Joe - our precious and funny Joseph Gerard. I will hold him close to my heart as one of my sweetest cousins. My memories of Joe go back to all our fun holiday gatherings as kids at Nana & Gramp Coffey’s house at 8 Hamilton St. Dorchester with all our Aunties & Cousins. We played on the steps and back yard, and even a few Easter walks up Columbia Rd. to Franklin Park. And many more memories of cousin fun at Hampton Beach and Plum Island! In recent years, I enjoyed seeing Joe at my daughter Karen’s 2009 wedding, our 2014 Coffey Family Reunion, a recent party hosted by my niece, Rachael, and the Shannon Meara Fundraisers. And sadly, I saw Joe at many wakes and funerals. I and all of us will miss his sweetness, his hugs, & his craziness - but maybe not his wild hairdos!!!
Joe has left us way too soon! πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯πŸ˜₯
Love you Cousin Joe!!! πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”
