Francis L. "Frank"  Ryan
Francis (Frank) L. Ryan, 92 of Arlington and Sagamore Beach passed away peacefully on June 4, 2018, at Brightview Assisted Living in Billerica, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances Mary (Curtis) Ryan who died in 2011 after 63 years of marriage.

Frank was born in Somerville on June 28, 1925, the son of William and Margaret (Doherty) Ryan. Raised and educated in Somerville, he graduated from Arlington High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country as a combat veteran during WWII. He was an Arlington Firefighter for 35 years. He was also a skilled carpenter, building several homes on Cape Cod. He enjoyed music and tending to his vegetable garden.

His proudest accomplishment was his family. He is survived by William F. Ryan and his wife Kathy of Derry, NH; Barbara A. Flaherty and her husband Chuck of Billerica; Carol J. Bartalussi and her husband Bob of Westford and Daniel J. Ryan and his wife, Tricia of Dennis; five grandchildren, Kristine, Kelly, Megan, Kasey and Ryan and five great grandchildren, Kylie, Katelyn, Allyson, Michael and Declan.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 51 Medford St., Arlington. Visiting hours will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street, Arlington on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 800 Cummings Park, Ste. 2100, Woburn MA.
