Condolence From: Anna & David (with Nia and Elias)
Condolence: Dear Rita and Eddie, and extended family, What a gem Gemma was! What a gift to everyone who knew her. We became neighbors more than a decade ago, and friends shortly after that. Gemma and Rita loved on our little Nia as we brought our first baby home from the hospital - we had to insist to Gemma that 4 freezer meals were truly enough! I think of Gemma sitting out on the porch on summer evenings, rarely alone. There was always a friend or neighbor who stopped and sat for a while to shoot the breeze, greet everyone who walked by, and share a laugh. We've stayed in touch since then, and even though we moved halfway round the world to Istanbul, Turkey, Gemma and Rita have kept in touch with encouraging notes and gifts. 2 little kids in Istanbul still walk around proudly sporting Cape Cod sweatshirts! We send our love and share thankfulness with you for this life well lived.

Condolence From: Sissy
Condolence: My deep condolences to the Lavey family, The pain of losing a loved one is oh, so real. I truly understand because recently my husband fell asleep in death after 50 years of marriage. May you find some comfort in the Most High God’s word (Psalms 83:18) . Yes, He promises a time when we can see our loved ones again (Acts 24:15) in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24) and He says where: Psalms 37:11 and how long (Psalms 37:29). May you hold on to God’s promises. May comfort & peace be with you.
