The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard P. Villandry can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

That was Dad!

Every Sunday without fail the entire Villandry family would parade down one of the long isles of St.Agnes Church to the very first pew in front, closest to the alter. One Sunday I remember passing plenty of available seats in the back as Dad proudly jonted to the front. I stopped & pulled on the arm of the sibling in front of me and said "there's plenty of seats back here why do we have to walk all the way up there?", (As a little girl it was far & we got a lot of stares along the way). Ahead was Dad waiving his arm to come along so to the first pew I went. I then asked Dad the same question and this is what he said. "When you buy tickets to a show or concert do you sit in the first seat you find in back when you come in or do you go to the front to get the best seat so you can see the show?". AAAAAAAAAmen!
