Condolence: It has been over a year since Peabo passed. Know that your memory will not be in vain, we are going ahead with a pilot for the TV detective role we discussed, Peter. You will be immortalized on our screens as a crime busting gumshoe who likes soup.
Condolence: I worked with Peter aka Peabo at the Free Software Foundation, but I will always remember him as the Soup King.. a nickname we gave him because he loved soup so much. We later appeared in a TV pilot we made about one of the FSF interns as the Soup King, and myself and colleagues at ZT have put together a small video about him as a tribute.
He will also be remembered in our upcoming film, Orang-U which he contributed to the funding of. I last saw him in March 2017 at LibrePlanet at MIT.
Condolence: Peter was one of my key colleagues in my first company during the mid-1970s and my partner in my last company in the first decade of the 21st century. During intervening years we kept closely in touch, as he has always been an amazing wizard and a friend. We had a working date during the middle of April and my dismay and shock at his death could not have been greater. My wife and I, her sister Janet, and Milton are missing him.
Condolence: Peabo always had a smile ready. He was passionate about improving the world through technology, and we had many interesting conversations about his passions through the years. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.
Condolence: I also worked with Peter, "Peabo" for many years at Delphi and Prospero. He was a quintessential "geek" in the positive sense of the word -- early to embrace technology and excited about what he created. I'm so sorry to hear he passed away. He will be missed.
Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Peter since last year and just found out. He was a kind soul a great man. He will be missed deaerly
Condolence: My condolences to Peter's family and friends. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with him for several years, and enjoyed his dry wit (he once remarked that an acquaintance of ours "put the nano- in micromanagement"). Rest in peace, Peter.
Condolence: I met Peter at the Free Software Foundation and I think at the python meetups. He was always friendly and helpful. A memory: I met him at the 2008 software freedom day - both of us I think were looking around for a job at the time and I mentioned that the FSF had a job - and urged him to apply. I got an excited email from shortly afterwards telling me he had been hired by the FSF. He will be sorely missed.
