To Spike, Christine and all family members.. I wish I could find words to give you comfort during such a difficult time.. But right now those words are difficult for me to grasp let alone express. John , or " Johnny"--we grew up in the 40's and 50's and that is how we referred to each other---- was a talented and gifted athlete. It has always amazed me how some one of his size could be so fast and agile. Those traits served he well as he had much success as an athlete at Waterville High School. "Johnny" Kitowicz was never one to "blow his own horn" as if his father did not mention his accomplishments I probably would never have known about his many achievements. He was always someone who was about "Deeds and not Words ".. Someone who would always step up and do whatever if you needed help. Then brush aside any Thank You or recognition.
